News from Dee - Spring arriving slowly but catches are picking up
After a really hard winter in the U.K. even one of the toughest winter in decates over there, the fishing started really slowly in all Scottish rivers. The mighty Dee was no exeption to that and numbers were very poor for the first weeks. But now the weather is changing slowly, most of the snow has melted and air as well as water temp is rising to a reasonable status, having the affect that catches are picking up. Yesterday was quite good with 23 salmon to land, biggest on was a 20lbs monster from Park. We will be reporting daily from the Dee now. Axelo axelo@lax-a.is
