Hunting news letter from team Lax-a for season 2010

Once again Team Lax-a enters a season of true and great hunting destinations all around the world. Our goal for season 2010 is to complete all our hunts with 100% success offering a wide variety of service from hunting a small seabird in Iceland to the arctic hunt of Musc ox in Greenland.  Here below I will describe for you in a teasing kind of way our destinations for 2010 – and remember that our goal is your happiness..

Hunting in Iceland.. All the species for wild birdlife – And a brand new hunting program – Arctic Fox

There will be no changes to our programs  in Iceland this year. Our new program, hunting for Arctic Fox is a really exciting program to do, 4 foxes in the wild in 3 days, night shooting on the Western peninsula, you will feel ghosts and ancient vikings surrounding you.. contact axelo@lax-a.is for all information.  The Ptarmigan season is set to go off in 1st of November for 6 weeks, great way to combine to a goose hunt, the trips are all 5 days, 3 whole days of walked up Ptarmigan, full lodge and boarding and experienced guide, real good value.  The Goose season starts 20th of August through December, time to go is september, you can expect to catch up to 30-35 goose in a day, all kinds, Barnacles, Greygoose, Pink foot  and Mountain goose, and as a bonus you can go for the native ducks in the evening.  Reindeer season will be from 1st of August to 20th of September, as ever there is a lottery run by the government, so if you are interested in going, contact me no later then now, if you don´t get in, I can always arrange for you to go to Greenland.

I have managed to complete this season in a lower price range then past 3 years, still we will offer the fantastic journey in away that no one will forget.  The hunt for the Arctic Muscox is something unique and the Island it self, the native indians and the atmosphere allow you to experience this arctic and rustic program.  It´s not a bad idea to take a Caribou as well and make the trip more interesting, they grow big body, big and huge horns, gold medal trophys all around.  Included in our trips is sightseeing to and you can fish for an arctic char when you are not hunting, have a look at our links..
