Brynjudalsá
Charming little river in only 45 min drive from Reykjavik
Brynjudalsá is a charming little river in only about 45 minutes drive from Reykjavík which makes it easy for a quick peek. The river has a good stock of salmon and anglers have the bonus of having the salmon close by and usually in full view.
Brynjudalsá, or "Brynjan" is a perfect choice for those who like to add a day or two to their fishing week. This lovely 2 rod river produced over 170 salmon in 2007.
Despite being a small volume river, Brynjudalsá produces some nice size salmon which average 7 pounds.
