An overview of our rivers in Iceland
For those of you who would like to come and fish for salmon in Iceland, but aren’t quite sure how to get started in your search for the ideal location, we have put together a short overview of our salmon rivers.
We divide our rivers into two categories, rivers that come with full service lodges and rivers that come with self catering lodges.
In the full service category we have:
West Ranga - 14 - 20 rods, large river, insane number of salmon, last years catch. 10.749 salmon.

East Ranga - 14 rods, large river, huge numbers of salmon, last years catch: 4.229 salmon.

Vididalsa - 8 rods, big salmon, medium size river, last years catch: 2019 salmon.

Laxa in Asum - 2 rods, small river, high daily catches, last years catch: 1.142 salmon.

Hvannadalsa - 3 rods, last years catch: 275 salmon.
