Sidorovka salmons - eager to bite and fight !
Located just west of the river Varzina at Kola Peninsula of Russia, this tented camp is an ideal place for small groups of six. If you are looking for a remote adventure with superb fishing, stunning scenery and of budget-price – this is it!
This small river is totally different from all the others in this area. Sidorovka flows through almost barren rocky tundra. All who have fished it are charmed by its totally clear water and plentiful salmon. Like Penka River also Sidorovka has lots of lakes in the upper river system. These slowly combine their waters to the river proper, which cuts through the coastal hills to mix its green waters to the Barents Sea. Avenue of Giants pool, 40-pounders pool, Upper and Lower Aquarium Pools, Valley Pool, Sea Pool... They bring fond memories to anyone who has ever fished these beautiful waters.
At the first glance Sidorovka may look like a marginal grilse river. It is nothing like that. Many seasons have produced amazing fish in the 20–30 lbs range and 10–15 lbs fish are common. The Sidorovka salmon are eager to bite and the fight is always spectacular in the clear water. In addition to the salmon, the Sidorovka Sea Pool is the best producer of sea trout in the area. There are many trout in the 5–8 lbs class with lots of smaller fish. Almost all of the pools can be effectively fished using a single-handed flyrod. In some areas roll- and spey-casting is needed to cover the water properly. Wading boots are usually all that is needed to fish this river.

We are well booked as well in Sidorovka as in other russian rivers but here below you can find the availability:
12-19 June: 3 rods available
If you are interested in more information or booking please contact sooner then later because the Sidorovka is situated in the military zone and you have to apply for the military permission at least 2 months before trip.
All the best,
