Vala gave me this recipe, it is from her grandma.

4 dl. Yogurt (without a sugar)

40gr. Sugar

1 tsp. Vanilla

5 cups gelatine

1 dl. Cream

19.1.2006 : Russian Salted Salmon

The Russian Salted Salmon is like the gravid lax (same process)

Two fillets – you salt this two fillets gently – you can ad 10% sugar into the salt (that means that the meet shouldn’t be covered in a thick lay of salt – just a very thin lay – very important – otherwise the meets get to dry).

12.1.2006 : The Swedish Gravad Lax with Mustard Dressing

2 fillets of salmon (skin of) aprox. 300 grams each

1 cup of brown sugar (you can also use honey or normal sugar)

1 cup salt

5 grams fresh chopped Dill weed (you can also use dry Dill)

Svanborg here at the office gave me this recipe and she says that this one of the things that you have to take with you when you go fishing.

4 cups whole – wheat

2 cups oatmeal

8.11.2005 : The Great Salmon Soup

This is a big soup with a big name, leaving no room for compromise when it is cooked. There is butter and cream and alcohol. The extra calories are compensated for, however, since the salmon and vegetables are fresh and very wholesome, not to mention the extra invigoration stemming from unspoiled nature, fresh air and a long hard day's fishing.

This recipe is my personal favorite. It is easy cooking and very healthy.

2 goose breasts

Marinating:

3,3 oz balsamic
2 oz red wine vinegar
10 drops chili sauce (e.g. casa fiesta hot sause)
1 – 2 teaspoon mustard seeds (not necessary but very good)
2 oz French mustard (sweet)

11.3.2010 : 20 to 30 pounders on the way and fishing in Norway is starting soon !!!

Hard winter in Norway with lot´s of snow , that will only secure great spring fishing through June until first week in July .. so good news for us salmon fishermans. Here below is the latest openings we have on our Norwegian rivers.
