11.3.2010 : 20 to 30 pounders on the way and fishing in Norway is starting soon !!!

Hard winter in Norway with lot´s of snow , that will only secure great spring fishing through June until first week in July .. so good news for us salmon fishermans. Here below is the latest openings we have on our Norwegian rivers.

Time flies fast and after just a couple of months the salmon fishing in Russia starts. Our weeks on Lower Yokanga , Kola river , Ponoi , Varzina and Sidorovka is filling up , here below is what is still available:

8.3.2010 : Fishing in Cuba - Casa Batida Santa Maria

This is high-octane! Precise fast casting is the medicine. Fish from 10 to 80 lbs are present all year long and very big migrating tarpons up to 160 lbs start to show up in great numbers from March onwards. Classic sight flats flyfishing combined with chances in mangroves and channels when weather or tide is wrong for flats. Always a chance. We often get sent some great fishing story from our customers and friends. As good as the fishing trips are, the better are the stories afterwards! 4.3.2010 : We are planning Namibia in November.

Rooisand is getting fully booked for 2010 , we will do one more trip in 2010 and that one will be in November next , I will be going my self. I just got this entertaining story to my desk sent from my friends in Argentina. it´s the story of a huge fish caught on a dryfly early last week by one of the guides, a fish estimated to be at least 30 lbs. Both rods just became available on Laxá á Ásum, August 10th to 15th. Laxá á Ásum is one of the very, very best river in the world. Exclusively fished by two rods in a crystal clear water this river is the fly fishermans delight.
