And releasing......................

The Núpsá, Austurá and Vesturá tributaries all feed into the main Midfjardará, providing anglers with a countless variety of waters and landscapes.
With over 200 named pools, each rod covers a huge area that the angler cannot help but feel alone with the majesty of nature and its salmon!

The river is ideally suited for single handed rods, floating lines and small flies.
Savvy anglers employ both the Hitched-Tube and the Skated Fly with good results on Midfjardará´s gin clear pools.

From upper Vesturá tributary to Midfjardara, look at the two salmon lying at the end of the pool.

Anglers are accommodated in a comfortable lodge. This is the sitting room and the dining room at the far end.
