ACCOMMODATION
Grímsá
The famous lodge on Grímsá, designed by a noted international angler and architect, Ernie Schweibert, offers all private rooms with bath in addition to first class food and service. You either love or hate the exterior, but there is no question about the interior, it is luxury through and through and has recently even been refurbished with the owners adding hot pots on the veranda overlooking the Laxfoss, and a sauna in the basement. Plus, the lodge is run by one of Icelands leading chefs, Egill Kristjánsson who prides himself by never having the same dish twice in a season!
