To start off, we call your attention to a unique property of uncommon beauty and multiple resources, notably the Estancia Rincón de los Leones which is comprised of three properties, totaling 16.922 hectares, in other words, 41.815 acres, all fenced independently with three main gates, including 16 kilometers (10 miles) of the River Chubut Riverfront.
The Estancia is located in the province of Chubut, Patagonia, Argentina.
The first thing that hits you is the stunning „living quarters“, built at the top of a 50 million year old cliff, perched 200 meters (650 feet) above the surroundings. Speaking of a room with a view!
This is a 560 square meter natural stone cladded construction featuring three huge breathtaking bedrooms, each one with a private bathroom, two fireplaces, a living room and a dining room, each with 20 foot ceilings, a study surrounded by glass offering no obstruction of the view to the canyons and valleys below.
On the sprawling terrace you‘ll find it ideal to have lunch while watching the sun come up over the canyons or take your dinner while watching the moon creep up behind them. There are as well spacious maids quarters and a two car covered garage with storage room.
Also featuring: Internet and phone via satellite, electricity powered by generator, a 35.000 liter water tank and a 5.000 liter gasoil tank.
Also in the Chubut valley, a series of Adobe homes along with a three bedroom guest house, renovated in 2005, a hundred square meter employee house, two huge barns, two small warehouses and a horse corral.
The climate is superb. 5 to 7 degrees warmer than the Nades Front range, including Bariloche and Esquel, making it feasible as a year around paradise instead of a summer only haunt. Rincon de los Leones has an anual rainfall of 12 inches which mostly occurs in winter and you are guarenteed three hundred days of sun per year.
This is a climate perfect for vineyards.
The property has over 60 kilometers of private roads which access all points of interest. It also boasts an irrigation system which includes a 7 kilometer main canal and 250 kilometers of secondary canals, giving the property some 1.000 hectares of free irrigation by gravity and and more so by pressure pumps.
Last year over 400.000 trees were planted by way of the irrigation system at various points of the property. The estimated worth of the job is over 12 million dollars.
The soil at Rincon de la Leones is so fertile and productive that vegetables and fruit, including water melon, strawberries, ciboulette, estragon, green lettuce, tomatoes, potatos, carrots, asparagus, oregano and basilica have been and are being currently grown for private consumption and could well be mass produced.Plus, the valley has great wine making potential.
There are plenty of animals in the property.
Small Game.
Throw in sensational fly fishing for trout in the Chubut river, astonishing nature and various wild game for shooting, and you have a cross between Heaven and Mecca.
The best way to experience the thrill of fly fishing is to float down the Chubut river.
Chubut river offers great numbers of Rainbow and Brown Trout , dry fly fishing at its best.
