Camp Bonaventure
We are pleased to present Camp Bonaventure, a sporting lodge for the most descriminating angler and wingshooter. Ideally located on the stunning shores of Quebec's Gaspe Peninsula, we specialize in sight fishing for Atlantic salmon on some of the world's clearest rivers and wingshooting for grouse and woodcook over professionally trained English pointers.
Camp Bonaventure has been described as one of the finest Sporting Lodges in North America. Designed with your every convenience in mind and built to satisfy the most discriminating sporting requirements.
The main lodge and guesthouse each have their own unique and elegant atmosphere. Featuring well appointed living rooms with 30-foot fireplaces, spacious bedrooms with private baths and screened porches.
Fine meals are served in our dining room over looking the beckoning Bonaventure River.
Camp Bonaventure is ideally located to allow our guests the opportunity to fish three great Atlantic Salmon rivers from early June through late September.
The Bonaventure, legendary for its water clarity and sight casting opportunities, the
Petit Cascapedia known for its clear picturesque pools holding big salmon and huge brookies, and the famous
Grand Cascapedia where salmon in the forty pound class are not uncommon.
Your days on the river are enhanced by the experience and knowledge of our expert guides who have fished these waters for years and know where to put you over fish.
The weather on Quebec's Gaspe Peninsula is similar to the North Eastern United States. Temperatures vary from 65 to 85 degrees in the summer with average precipitation. Our water temperatures vary from 45 to 55 degrees in early and late season to 55 to 65 degrees during the mid summer months.
