Our specially modified trucks are exceptionally equipped for both comfort and capability. The large tires have several advantages and allow us to go virtually anywhere. Each truck is also fully equipped to ensure a safe journey with VHF radios, Satellite Communications, Global Positioning System (GPS), and Navigation Systems.. If you are interested, don’t hesitate to ask your chauffeur-guides about the truck’s modifications..

Our chauffer-guides are very knowledgeable about Icelandic nature, geography, history, sagas and folk stories, and enjoy telling you all about the interesting detail that can be found on the way in each tour. Iceland on Track is a fully licensed tour operator authorised by Icelandic Tourist Board..

Please Note: Iceland on Track reserves the right to change tours due to inclement weather or poor road conditions. Pick up and drop off available anywhere in Reykjavík or surrounding area. Pick up is 15-20 minutes before departure time. Be sure to wear warm clothes and sturdy shoes! Unless otherwise noted, tours do not include meals. On longer tours, it may be a good idea to pack a lunch, or upon request, we can stop on the way for meals..

12.3.2010 : Dee, Forest Birse

We have few prime time days available on Forest Birse

May 3rd to 8th and
May 13th to 15th

The Birse fishings lie half a mile south of Aboyne, with the beat extending to three and a half miles on the right bank downstream from the Altdinnie Pool, which is immediately above Aboyne Bridge. harpa@lax-a.is

11.3.2010 : 20 to 30 pounders on the way and fishing in Norway is starting soon !!!

Hard winter in Norway with lot´s of snow , that will only secure great spring fishing through June until first week in July .. so good news for us salmon fishermans. Here below is the latest openings we have on our Norwegian rivers.

8.3.2010 : Fishing in Cuba - Casa Batida Santa Maria

This is high-octane! Precise fast casting is the medicine. Fish from 10 to 80 lbs are present all year long and very big migrating tarpons up to 160 lbs start to show up in great numbers from March onwards. Classic sight flats flyfishing combined with chances in mangroves and channels when weather or tide is wrong for flats. Always a chance. We often get sent some great fishing story from our customers and friends. As good as the fishing trips are, the better are the stories afterwards! I just got this one sent from our friend Kristjan in Edalfiskur, but he is the owner of the smokery in Borganes where we recommend our client´s to take their fish for smokery and packing.
