Endless opportunities in northern PATAGONIA

The opportunities in Argentina are almost endless, for rainbows, browns, brookies and a few landlocked and Pacific salmon.

We at Lax-á are now very proud being able to offer you the opportunity to fish many of the great and well known rivers of Northern Patagonia. There are so many exciting rivers and waters all the way from San Martin des los Andes through the area of National Park Nahuel Huapi towards Bariloche and further south to Chubut and all the way to southern part of Esquel near to the boarders of Chile. This part of Argentina is like a different world inside the country. You are now inside various National Parks, big trees and forest everywhere with the snow-topped peaks of the Andes watching over their properties and neighbours.

Last year we went visiting various lodges in the areas mentioned above and to put is short: We just loved each and everyone of them!!

We are really proud to have become the SOUL AGENTS IN EUROPE for Estancia TECKA in Chubut starting with the upcoming season.

Estancia TECKA owns 175.000 sqm of private land - with no public access. The land of TECKA offers immense numbers of private waters, rivers, spring creeks and lakes.  Many of which are still unexplored virgin waters.  You can enjoy being an exploratory for some secret waters that will reward you with fresh and strong rainbows, browns or brookies.

Because of the big land and various landscapes inside the Estancia you will be using various techniques and fishing both from a boat and from the bank.  In addition you will find very rich birdlife, all birds are protected inside Tecka and bird watching trips are available.

Tecka offers high standard, luxurious accommodation.  There are two lodges, the newly built CARIDAD and the original lodge TECKA wish now has been totally refurbished in a very nice way.  Your host will be Jorge Richards who is the "man" behind the secrets of the waters of TECKA.  He has done an amazing job there!

The other lodges we vistied and are proud to offer you are from the north towards the south: 

* Ten Rivers and Ten Lakes in San Martin des Los Andes.  You will be hosted by the great team: Pablo Mazza, Claudio and Agustina.  In addition to Pablos passion for fly fishing, the couple Claudio and Augustine love making food and have a very good knowledge about quality wines.  If you are interested you can have a special wine introduction, at their cosy wine cellar, where Claudio will introduce you to the wonders of the local wines.

* Rio Manzo lodge, located inside the National Park Nahuel Huapi.  The great couple Sebastian and Uchi Graziosi will host you.  Many of you already know them from Toon Ken lodge where they did a great job in 2002-2004!

* Arroyo Claro lodge, Bariloche. You will be hosted by the legendary Argentine angler, Jorge Graziosi, father of Sebastian Graziosi.  They are in good co operation and offer a combo week between their lodges.

* Laguna Larga lodge, Esquel.  You will enjoy the great hospitality of Laura and Gonzalo.  Gonzalo is an passionate angler and a chef... great combination!!  Laura is the perfect hostess, always making sure you are well taken care off.

All of these lodges offer 3 days and week + trips. So whether you choose to spend a full week on one of them or combine two - everything is possible.  Another great option is to combine any of them with a week on the Rio Grande:
