Fly gear, nine foot single handed 3 to 6 weight, floating, fast sinking and sinking tip lines, 7 to 11 foot tapered leaders ranging from 2X to 7X .
Flies, streamers, nymphs, dries, trout patterns will do the required job (all these available at the lodge).
Sight fishing for trout feeding on the surface is an unforgettable experience.
At Río Manso Lodge, we promote catch and release only.

Lax-á line - fly fishing rods designed in Iceland
Lax-á is now starting a new line of rods that suit most of our fishing destinations. The rods reflect a good craftsmanship and high quality.
The rods have been tested on the icelandic rivers by experienced anglers, who give them their best recommendation. For Argentinean trout rivers we have two sizes of single hand rods. These first rods come in limited numbers so they will be a collecters item:
Lax-á 9´0" line 5/6 in 5 sections
Lax-á 9'6" line 7/8 in 5 sections
Double handed rods 14" and 12,6" are also available in the Lax-á line!
